LA Philharmonic

Classical music is often seen as formal and difficult. The project asked how to make it more accessible. Instead of studying classical theory first, it focused on emotional experience, organizing a program around sadness, joy, and anger.

Using Google Spectrogram, sound waves of classical pieces were analyzed, and real music data was translated into graphic patterns. A poster series was created where each composition generated a unique visual identity reflecting its prominent frequencies and rhythms.

These visuals serve both as expressive graphics and archival elements.
